Happy Stone, UI/UX Design
The Happy Stone, a stone hunting community with a painted rock map and a companion app, needed a single scroll site that turned curiosity into installs. Every section points to one action, with no separate rules page to read and no scattered links to chase. The page carries the full feature set in place, from the treasure map and QR scan reveal to the community feed, XP levels and leaderboard leagues, so a weekend walker or a parent with restless kids can judge whether it fits their Saturday without clicking away, while free access, kid safety and the fact that no artistic skill is required handle the practical doubts. Painting something and never learning where it went drives the urgency.
The Challenge
The Happy Stone's appeal is invisible until you use it. A painted stone crosses a border and turns up in a stranger's photo months later, but listed as features, that reads like any other map app. The audience runs from curious parents to committed painters, and the doubts arrive early. Cost, coverage, child safety, and whether you need to be able to paint at all.
The Solution
We built the page around the loop rather than the feature list. Paint, register the QR code, hide it, get the notification when it is found. Real app screens carry the proof, and objections get answered where they surface instead of in a FAQ nobody scrolls to. One action throughout, no new tabs, readable top to bottom in under a minute.
